Welcome! I offer convenient messaging and video based Telehealth services for you and your family. If you are located in Texas or New Mexico, I can help! All visits are private pay, meaning I do not currently accept insurance. This helps me keep my prices lower and transparent.
Messaging based visits are great, quick visits when you are on the go. These are best for urgent care complaints such as Pinkeye, UTI, Rashes, Colds, or other minor complaints.
Video Based visits are best when you prefer a face-to-face experience tailored to your needs, and to care for more complex conditions or questions like Primary Care, Men's and Women's Health, Annual Visits, Weight Loss, Lab or other work ups.

About Me
Hi! My name is Lori Johnson, I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Since 2015 I have worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, urgent care, functional medicine and telehealth. Most recently I have practiced primarily in telehealth for 4 plus years and have experience treating a variety of conditions virtually. I have seen telehealth evolve over the years, increasing patients' access to health care services.

I am happy to now offer telehealth services to the surrounding communities, specifically for urgent care complaints, offering support when most clinics are closed! I treat pediatric patients and adults, and can treat most conditions.
These visits are not for emergencies so if you are having medical emergency symptoms like chest pain, difficulty breathing or a severe injury please seek immediate in person care.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do you take insurance?
** We are a private pay clinic, which allows us to keep care costs simple and transparent. While we do not accept insurance, you can use your HSA/FSA card to pay, and you can print a superbill from your patient portal to submit to insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Why can Medicare and Medicaid patients not use this service?
** Due to state laws, Medicare and Medicaid patients are not allowed to pay cash for services already covered by their insurance. Therefore, we cannot provide care to patients with or Medicaid, even if they wish to self-pay.
I registered for a message visit. Where will my visit be?
** All message visits happen inside your patient portal. Simply log into your portal, go to the Messages section, and check for communication from your provider, including follow-up questions. You can reply directly in that message thread. If you are newly registering yourself or your child, you will need to choose the "new sign up" option. You will need a unique sign in for each patient.
